Eternal Flame & Akron Falls - Buffalo
Eternal Flame & Akron Falls - Buffalo P and I have been itching to get away on a little adventure before we go to Iceland in April. I thought we could go down to Buffalo for a night and check out some waterfalls down there. We packed my car and with Abba remix's blasting we made our way south to Buffalo. I was surprised how close Buffalo is to Toronto. I have never driven over the boarder before so this was exciting and kinda nerve racking for me. The Eternal Flame Falls is one of the coolest waterfalls I have ever seen in my life online because it was an actual natural flame burning behind the waterfall. The flame is able to burn because of the natural gas coming out of the ground behind the waterfall. It is kinda mind boggeling to see in person.
The following day we drove a bit outside of Buffalo to check out another waterfall called Akron. The temperature had really dropped that day so we didn't stay very long exploring the falls as I forgot to bring my winter coat. It had rained the night before so the waterfall was raging when we got there, it was so beautiful!
